For the first time, BSL #6 featured a five-and-a-half hour set from the two Johns. This gave room for some more outre moments than there is usually time for; an acid-squelch intro leading into Abba's Does Your Mother Know; our new bootleg of Prince's When Doves Cry and Yes's Owner of a Lonely Heart; a high-risk, potentially room-emptying segue from Kylie's Slow into Nine Inch Nails' Only. Sometimes it's hard to tell bravery and stupidity apart.
